I am an American in my 20's and very interested in traveling to China for up to a year to study Mandarin and its culture. My problem is how to cover the full cost of tuition and accommodation. Im currently not enrolled in any university here in the states, i completed my undergrad (BBA majoing in finance) almost a year ago. Are there any financial aids available for people in my situation. Since im currently not enrolled in any university in the US, Will this still be considered as a study abroad. Basically my question is how can i study Mandarin in China without costing me too much out of pocket. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
