I normally work pt and claim my son on my taxes and it makes me an independent student and pays for my tuition. I will be starting the nursing program and I will no longer be able to keep my job and will be devoting all my time toward school and the program. If I dont have an income then I dont complete taxes that year but will I still be able to get financial aid. I was gone to let my sons father claim him this year since Im not working but I dont know if that will mess my aid up.
Financial aid and taxes help! Can I still apply?
