I know the economy is taking its toll on most everyone right now and everyone could use an extra buck. Here is my current financial situation...I graduated a year ago and am making just around $2000 a month after taxes. My bills with school loans, car payments, credit card, etc are about $1000 a month. I plan on returning to school in the next year to further my degree and in doing so will up my pay. I am a 25 year old single female with no dependents other than myself. the one unique thing about my situation is that I have a chronic disease (crohns) and while that alone is a burden in itself, my prescriptions per month cost close to $100, I am also immunosuppressed because of those prescriptions and have to make a couple trips a year to the doc for checkups and blood work. My question is that since I do have a chronic disease and financially that is a burden to me as well...are there any groups or any sort of aid out there for people who are in my situation who just need a little extra help to keep them afloat. I'm not asking for charity, i just need a couple years to go back to school and tie up all the loose ends so I can start making pretty much double what I'm making now. Does anyone know of any financial instituations or aid groups that help people with this sort of thing? Thanks so much for your help!
