I'm currently a personal banker with a major financial institution. Working with the public has its perks but most of my customers are in terrible financial shape and have no rational, long-term financial goals. I'm thinking of transitioning into a financial advisor role but am concerned about the work environment. I have my CFP tests under my belt but do not want to work in a call center or make cold calls--I have a network of HNW people I can draw from to start. What are my options?
