I'm being assessed as a qualified financial adviser in the UK, advising private clients on investments portfolios, retirement planning, etc. As part of my presentation I would like to compare UK financial advisers with those in the USA, Canada, Germany, France and Japan. In short, how and where do they carry out their advice? Do they mainly visit clients at home, at work, or do their clients visit them at their bank branch?
