Financial adviser question?

I stand to inherit some money in the not to distant future. I want to make sure I don't make any mistakes and I use the money wisely. Where can I find some good financial advisers? Do Fidelity or Vanguard offer financial advisers? Can anyone give me a price range on how much it usually costs? Thanks
