Accounting help, with Journal Entries?
1. Receive 65,000 cash from new investors, and issue 65,000 of common stock to them.
2. purchases 96,000 of new mowing equipment, paying cash to the mower dealer.
3.pay 500 cash for the july truch rental.
4. invoice a new customer 800 dollars for a completed mowing job--customer will pay in 10 days.
5. Date: July 5- the board of directors declares a cash dividend. the total amount of the dividend is 8000 dollars. the date of record is set as july 15. the date of payment is et as july 31.
6. pay the employees 5575 for work performed dyuring the 1st week of july.
7. Complete a mowing job for a new customer--customer pays 300 cash for the job.
8.collect 3500 cash from the golf course for special rush mowing job completed on may 31, 2009
9. pay the employees 4800 for work performed during the 2nd week of july.
10. purchase 75 dollars of supplies from the mower dealer. the supplies are consumed immediately. lenny's will pay the mower dealer for the supplies in about 2 weeks. (lenny's lawn Service, Inc)
11. collect 800 dollars on account. the cash that is received is from the new customer for the job that was completed on july 3.
12. one of the original movwers purchase in january of 2008 (all these transactions are from july 2009) broke down and is repaired by the mower dealer. The cost of the mower repair job is 875. lenny's will pay the mower dealer in 30 days.
13. purchase for cash 16,000 of supplies. these supplies will be consumed over the next 12 months.
14. collect 30,000 from the property management company for work performed in june.
15. pay the employees 5,250 for work performed during the 3rd week of july.
16. receiece a 40,000 advance payment from the university. the advance payment is for 5 months of work which will be performed from august 1, 2009 to december 31,2009
17.complete a special moving job for the golf corse. the total price for the mowing job is 5,100. the golf course pays 500 cash on this date and will pay the remainder on august 25 (date of journal entry july 25)
18. complete a mowing job for a new customer-- customer pays 225 cash for the job.
19. pay 75 dollars cash to the mower dealer for the supplies purchased on account on july 15 (journal entry date: july 27th)
20. pay the employees 6,100 for work performed during the 4th week of july.
21. invoice the property management company 31,250 for july mowing work. the property management company will pay the invoice on the 20th of next month (date of journal entry: july 31)
22. pay the cash divident which was declared on july 5.
