Well, in case none of you have heard the news. Johnny Depp has said that he will only do the third movie if they can get Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones to play his father. Depp actually based the entire character of Jack off of the mannerisms and speech patterns of Keith Richards, and that's why he wants him in the third movie.

Just a tidbit I thought you all might want to know.
