I fractured my spine 13 years ago whilst in the military and partly because back then they probably didn't know how best to deal with it and partly because I was an indoctrinated Neanderthal, communication wasn't great.
Consequently I didn't receive any physio or much treatment and continued to do things like parachute and long forced marches carrying up to 130lbs of equipment. I don't know it may have fractured it many times or stopped it healing properly.
The problem is a decade later I don't know how the injury healed and what state it's in.So I called the clinic today to see a doctor in order to ask for an x- ray and physio .I want to start running again like I used to but I really need to know what state my spine is in.
Having read this forum it seems I've been in a time warp, I was told by a surgeon a decade ago that it would take me two years to recover from surgery. Forum users here are talking about 3 months.
