So I have been noticing since last week when I cleaned up my tank a bit since my corydoras are messy eaters, that there was a just noticeable from the right angle amount of brown algae growing in certain locations in my tank...
Now a week later, my obsidian rocks and the back of my tank has a more noticeable amount of brown algae on them, as well as my plants.
My 29 gal tank is fully cycled and all of my fish are healthy, I have 4 bronze cories (getting 1 or 2 more) and 4 zebra danio (getting 2 or 3 more).
I am pretty set against snails as I had some real problems with overpopulation in previous tanks, but I really like otocinculus... Still not so sure about plecos, although there are bristlenoses and clowns at my fish store that have max lengths of 3-5 inches.
Any advice?
Also, my amazon sword plants are starting to turn brown on the tips and a couple leaves are starting to get brown splotches on them.... Is this too little light? Wouldn't adding more light make the algae problem worse?
Ah shrimp! Completely forgot about that... anyone have anything to say about shrimp? they are awesome little things, but whats the catch?
