I have never posted to websites, but had to share this after so many failed attempts to get the right Android Build and Rom combination etc... My husband bought a US T MOBILE HTC HD2 Leo and was super unhappy with it, especially after seeing his friends Android phones. Even though we had spent nearly $500 on the phone, of course T Mobile would not let us exchange. The phone had sat in the box for several months while he was gone and by the time we got it up and going, it was tooooo late. We found out that people were putting the Android on the phone. I am somewhat computer savvy, not a whole lot, but I decided that I would try and after hours and hours and ups and downs thinking I had it and then finding out that my husband was stranded without a working phone, or not being able to get the Android os to boot only windows........sigh...... I finally found the right combination and those problems are all gone. My husband has a dual boot and can choose the windows or android phones at start up. I am not including links etc... you may have to google, but the combination that worked for me and general instructions. First, you have to load up the HSPL 3 (This allows you to install programs, but is reversible). You can get this download and instructions at the xda site. Then you will want to install the CHUCKY ROM I cant remember if it was at xda, but should be able to find with google. Then load the Darkstone Froyo v2.1 build-again a google search, but I believe it is at gamesquare. Follow directions and when you reboot after install the new windows chucky rom comes up. Go to your settings and the second field from the bottom is called EBL 2.0. This is the dual boot and you can select either Windows or Android to boot and it gives you a time selection. 3 seconds if you don't usually use the other OS, 10 if you would like to disrupt the load of the OS that is set to auto boot for this boot only, (It will still auto boot the selected OS when rebooted). Hope this helps! It works great with none of the problems I have been having.

wow, the hd2 is blowing up android forums. how many of us hd2 users are there sporting the latest and greatest android builds?? anyways, it's great to see android has brought your phone new life; it's been basically the same for me, except i'm still trying to iron out some problems--mostly battery issues.

how do you like dualbooting? i've been contemplating setting it up (do you use jmz or gen y, by the way?), but just booting into windows and running clrcad and haret is pretty simple.
