This is from a Yahoo news article:
"The Obama administration's decision to cut the pay of top executives at companies on taxpayer life support will help quiet the popular outrage over excessive compensation. But it introduces a new concern: brain drain."
They are worried about Brain Drain?
I worked in corporate America ( in the executive ranks) for over 20 years before starting my own small business. Most of these people who draw these high salaries do very little to help the company move forward. Their primary concern is how to maintain their jobs and maximize their bonuses.
Most, when handed a new project, the first thing they do is map out their exit strategy. Then they look for who to blame and for what. This process some times took weeks before the project ever got started.
I agree with cutting the salaries of these companies that failed and had to be bailed out.
