Final Fantasy XII PS2 help in the dungeon level?

ok im at that place where you have to keep the light on to do so you have to kill mimic things...Ive been doing that and the level is frankly impossible. To many monsters so I was wondering if I was at the right level with my characters

All At Level Seven! (7)

any other advice on this level would be nice thanks!
