final fantasy 8 pc version changing to disc 2 (using daemon tools)?

i have ff8 for pc and i am using daemon tools to mount it, disc 1 worked fine but now i need to play disc 2 it always say 'wrong disc', i have tried re-mounting the file and extracting it but nothing works.
how can i get it to work
