Final countdown deck help YUGIOH?

hey, i made a final countdown deck and it works REALLY well... for battle damage... i'm noticing with efefct damage i'm compeltely defensless. if there any cards that negate effect damage?
 
You could try Life Stream Dragon.

The only card that I know that can permanently stop effect damage is him. However the price is that if you use his effect your life points turn to 4000.
 
Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste
Not only does he negate all effect damage done by the opponent, he also returns the damage to them.
