Films about the paranormal?

I saw The Last Exorcism last night and I've been reading all about the paranormal today and it's gotten me into the mood to watch one tonight.

I've not really seen many so, what are the best ones to watch (pereferably scary)?

I've seen Paranormal Activty.

Check out Asian films as well if you haven't seen, they beat the US ones hanRAB down, Americans often remake some of the Asian ones and dumb them down or just add more blood and violence.

Its pretty good,its a tv movie but was quite scary in its time,also try The Entity, its very frightening,if u liked Paranormal Activivty u might enjoy the BBC's Ghostwatch(1992)heres a link for that below,enjoy.

Poltergeist is pretty much the only film that has ever scared the living bejebus out of me.

I love those movies, parts 1 & 2 were exellent,3 was alright but its a shame Julian Beck died shortly after filming part 2,as did Will Sampson,there was quite a bit of tragedy involved in all 3 movies starting with Dominique Dunne and ending of course with heather.

Julian Beck was just about as creepy as you can get, Rev. Kane traumatised me for years after seeing that film.

The sad thing is he was ravaged with cancer during Poltergeist 2 and actually pretty close to death, but his gaunt ill look went a long way to making him such a creepy character.
