Its been the year of the underdogs i think. With films like pirates of the carrabian etc beating such huge and forgettable (lets face it) sequals!

But from what was released so far this year my favourate film would just has to be.............Find Nemo!

I mean any film that could come up with such a catchy song like "just keep swimming" is a winner in my eyes:D

And i'm going to see Kill Bill part 1 tomorrow so that should be good.......well it cant be any crapper then the Matrix "oops we did it again" revolutions:rolleyes: !

I predict.............The first Matrix movie will remain a classic while the others will be viewed in the same way as the Jaws sequals and the Robo cop sequals............simply...........enjoyable but a "rather prefer the popcorn" movie:yawn:

Sorry lala, I gave you a lot of praise in the Disney forum, but I completely disagree with you here. The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions wern't just sequals, they were part of a story that was divided up into a Trilogy whiich always had me on the edge of my seat. It just like Lord Of The Rings (which may I add is absolutely sh!t) has 3 parts to it because it is based on a story.

Finding Nemo was great though, as was American Pie:The wedding

Kill Bill will be remembered for a long time to come, I think it is possibly the best film out this year. Finding Nemo is a close second. Also worthy (in my view, these are ones I've seen), X2, Matrix Reloaded+Revolutions and T3. Of course Gigli might turn out to be the most memorable for being the worst film of all time.

Haha. I'm guessing you're under 12 and haven't entered adolescence yet?

American Pie 3 was the most boring, unfunny pile of trash in the world I'm afraid. Definately a waste of an hour and a half. It was nothing but a milked franchise being murdered... :(

Top Three of 2003 in no particular order:

Kill Bill
Bowling For Columbine
X-Men 2

Worst Three of 2003 in no particular order:

Charlies Angels Full Throttle
Intacto
Pirates Of The Carribean

HAHA! no, im 15 heading towarRAB the end of adolescence. I saw the other 2, so i saw this one, it was generally funny, You dont have to be immature to find these funny, you have to be old and boring not to.

Funny that... I'm 16, and I laugh at most stupid things, but I just couldn't laugh at AP3... in fact I thought it was an insult to Hollywood teen movies.

Bowling for columbine was november or december 2002

Anyway best film this year until LOTR: ROTK comes out is either of the two Matrix films.

This thread demonstrates what a complete lunacy the Oscars and other awarRAB are. How on earth do you compare 'Finding Nemo' with 'The Matrix Revolutions'? It's a bit like comparing 'Whinny the Pooh' with 'The Gulag Archipelago'. Where do you begin? They are both films... yes. Then... er... that's it.

Is that not why they have different categories?

Best animated film, best action film etc... Then the films can be compared to the best films in their genre.

The overall winner of best film is normally not too hard to choose. One film is usually head and shoulders above the rest :p - Not sure what that is this year though :o

Kill Bill kicks it for me sorry but its just bloody great litterally lol

Matrix f**k off you over hyped piece of shit!

First one was great but the rest are just over sentimental.........and just lacks a half decent plot:rolleyes: . They'll make their money but i doubt the rest will be remembered.

Kill Bill for me totally blowed me away without using any fancy CGI!

Roll on return of the kings:D :p
