I have been doing film photography for a year now, and almost always buying the cheapest film, since they are not too accessible where I live. Luckily, I am going abroad on a trip and able to choose from more options...

Now, I have seen that the price varies over the ISO speed (naturally) and the exposure... this last exposure, talking specifically about the sole film (not the exposure I will give it)... what is it about? I have seen that it goes from 24 to 36 exp, and so on...

Thanks for the help you can give me.

That's just how much film is loaded into the cartridge. The longer the roll, the more exposures (shots) you will be able to take. I've seen as low as 12, but no higher than 36. If you find a half frame camera (pretty rare these days) you will get twice the number of exposures. but the negative will be half the size and you won't be able to blow them up as far when printing.

24 exposures means you will get 24-27 shoots off the roll depending on how you load it

36 means........
