Well, I just about managed to sit through this piece of Hollywood fluff! What is it with Ron Howard and overly emotive sugar?! It's always drowned out pastels, retro sets, orchestral musical moments and a good ol' over-coming adversity screenplays with him! :yawn:
Didn't like the portrayal of mental health in the film at all; once again replicating old stereotypes of bizarre erratic behaviour and self-pitty
Thought Russell Crowe was mediocre in the role, although surprisingly, I felt that Jennifer Connelly was actually quite good!
