Filling oil on Mazda RX8?

Go with 5w20 check oil levels every 3 gas fills, make sure the oil is in between the two marks on the dipstick. Change oil every 3k-5k miles. Different opinions come from different drivers, your oil usage will vary, check it often and you'll be good. It only takes 5 min.

I hear the Apex Seal on the Renesis for the RX8 burns oil and you have to put oil in once a week? How much and how often? I've heard many different opinions form many different people...anyone with experience on how frequent you fill and change the oil? also 5w-20 / 30 i'd assume?
