Hi, I am doing this as a last resort since I don't have any other ideas. I am not being discriminatory. I am only sparing anyone from giving it some time. But if you think you can help me, feel free to do so. To Filipinos out there who love reading Tagalog (Filipino) novels, I am really needing your help. I have read this really OLD novel before by a Filipino author. I can't remember her name, sorry. But its not published by Precious Hearts, nor My Sweet Valentine nor Pinoy Pocketbooks or valentine romances.
Sorry if I am being very vague. I love this story! I just can't remember the title and the author. The summary of the story was like this:
The hero and the heroine are childhood friends. The heroine love fashion magazines and was able to meet an agent during one of the pageants that was held in their hometown. The agent told her that if she come with him, he can make her a model.
The hero was angry and then and there, ask the girl to marry him. The girl refused and went with the agent. She also earned her father's wrath.
A few years later, the girl was fetched by her father from where she is residing and asked her to return to their hometown. She is now a widow (she married the agent guy--who turned out to be gay). And she was reunited with her childhood friend who took a while to tell her that he still love her. Happy Ending.
