I want to put MANY sites on my host, so I added a domain in host gator cpanel.
The new domain folder shows up under public_html folder.
I uploaded my site folder WITHIN the mydomain.com folder that's under the public_html folder.
I have the index.html file both in that folder and directly under the mydomain.com folder.
Should I put the index.html ONLY in one place or is it fine to put it in more that one folder/place?
I want to have many sites in my unlimited package so putting one index.html file in the public.html would it stop me from having other sites hosted there?
What happens when I want to upload another site? Do i put that site's index.html in the public_html folder too?
Please help! Nobody ever answers these questions...
Do I create a COMPLETELY NEW file here or do I rename the default.html with the name: index.html????
Please explain clearly the steps
