Figure slope of a line w/equation?

I'm okay with finding the slope with simple equations like...
x-2y=6 which turns into -2y=-x+6, then I divide by -2 on both sides, etc.

I'm having a little mental block with this equation however...
x/2 - y/4 = 7

I'm probably just tired but I'm not understanding how to deal with the fractions. I'd really appreciate a brief step by step on working this out. Thanks in advance.
