so instead of getting a custom made dress or buying a stock dress, i decided to make my own dress because i took sewing my freshmen year of highschool (so i know how to sew) and i think it would be a fun project to make my own skating dress 
the only problem is that i can't find any skating dress patterns that i like.. is it possible for someone to make a pattern for you? like a custom made pattern?

i want the skirt to be kinda like alissa czisny's in this video (just not as long) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QTMs-MyTN0
i'm also probably going to make it out of velvet.
