What kind of figurative language would you consider this to be?

When the trumpet sounded,
everything was prepared on the earth,
and Jehovah gave the world to Coca-Cola Inc,
Anaconda, Ford Motors, and other corporations.

Now there's clearly a biblical allusion there but what do you consider the sarcastic tone of it to be? Is this considered verbal irony? What is the proper term?
