Fight/Flight Smoking Cessation?

When you quit smoking does your fight/flight response/adrenaline shut off for a while? I've been going cold turkey for 3 weeks now and I had horrible panic attacks through most of it, however, I never really felt that adrenaline. I don't have it anymore, even when I go out, I used to have bad social anxiety/very self-conscious too and my heart would pump and I'd get that rush. When I go in my car and I listen to music and get really pumped up, I don't feel that adrenaline, instead my head starts to hurt and I get a tad bit dizzy. It's extremely hard for me to get excited about anything, sometimes I'll have random over-excitement which also leads to head aches and pressure. I also just quit taking Lorazepam (1mg daily) after 1 week.
