Hi, I have been having problem with fido EDGE network for months, and things went like this..
Last year, I added the add-on "Unlimited Mobile Browsing," and things went all fine (I can use EDGE to browse web, use facebook apps, and other things).
Starting mid-November last year, I started to receive the error message from fido that "I attempted to use a data program without a data plan" when I launched my browser. And my mobile browsing never worked since then.
Last week, I went to Toronto and got lost
P) and I bought the 2.99 day pass dataplan (20 MB for a day) in order to use Google Map. I believe this should be on 3G/HSDPA network but my phone received it as EDGE and the speed was extremely slow.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on the settings?
Phone: HTC Diamond (P3700) on Windows Mobile 6.5 (from xda-developers, it worked with EDGE before but it doesn't now..I havn't changed the software)
