i read a book in 4th grade about a boy and his dog (wolf/husky) im not sure. but in the book the dog is wild and i cant really remember much only that at the end the dog is injured and dies and a scene from the book i remember is he is sitting with the dog on his lap crying and rubbing the blood soaked fur. i know its not call of the wild or white fang. i just need ome sort of help. it wasnt a picture book it was a small chapter book. any help?
