Can a ref call a technical foul for players yelling "shot" during an opposing players free throws? Then when the shot misses, award the girl 4 free throws, 2 for the original foul and 2 more for the technical foul? These are 10 year old girls playing under FIBA rules. The refs called 2 "imaginary" technicals in the last quarter of a championship game and ruined our daughters love of the game. The other technical was called for "foul language" on a girl that's never sworn in her life and I have the video tape and the girl said nothing at all. Just sour that refs can ruin a game like this. I'd just like to know if there's such a thing as reawarding a missed free throw, and 4 more additional? Thanks!
