My fiance and I are getting married in July. Three years ago when we started dating we had sex daily. Now I'm lucky if we have sex twice a month. It's been over two weeks currently.
He's been incredibly stressed out by his job, and I understand that that can have an impact, but he's had the same job for over 7 years. What's changed? I'm starting to seriously be affected by the lack of intimacy. I make moves but they go unheeded, and that's slaughtering my self esteem. I like to consider myself attractive, but if I can't get the man who wants to marry me to sleep with me, what am I doing wrong?
It's worth mentioning that he also recently started playing World of Warcraft on work nights (don't ever let anyone in your life play that game; they will be consumed!) and will play it until he's about to pass out and then go crawling into bed. That used to be our time.
I think he should see a doctor or a therapist, but I don't know how to approach the topic tactfully. I've mentioned that I am beginning to feel neglected, but that went nowhere. It's really strange; every other aspect of our relationship is splendid. We just don't have sex like we used to anymore.
I don't know what to do. Any pointers?
