Hi, I have an Orion Cobalt 10" subwoofer in my single cab truck, giving it around 170-200watts rms in a roughly .4 ft^3 enclosure, the biggest I can fit.
I have a new amplifier (MTX 801d: 250w rms @ 12v 4 ohm, 500rms @ 14.4v 4ohm). At the moment, the Orion sounds great on the higher bass, but anything below about 50hz, it just doesn't have anything, as it wants at least a .75 ft*3 box. The Fi X 10" has a sealed requirement of .25-.5 ft^3.
So my question is, would the Fi hit low enough to warrant the $130 price (w/ BP power), or should I look at a different woofer instead? I have a price range of about $150 dollars, and can't really budge on enclosure size, as it was a true pain to go even that big.
