FF13 is the worst game I have ever played, and I have some questions for you.?

Well, I have had this game since release, and it says I have played it for 22 hours.
I have had Monster Hunter Tri for Wii since release last month, and it says I have played it for 150 hours. Just saying.

The thing with FF13 is, besides being ridiculously linear, the battles which are supposed to be the best part of this game, are the most horrible, laughable pathetic excuse for any type of battle system. Pokemon Red/Blue had a more exciting battle system than this.

I have even recorded myself to show a friend I was right, how all the battles require you to simply tap x over and over and over again, and do nothing else. I even closed my eyes and did this for some, just to rest up for a minute.

Then there is the battle that requires you to hit x 10 times, paradigm shift to medic, then back to comm/rav, hit x another 10 times and repeat. Then, you get a perfect rating. Its ridiculous.

That aside, the game is the most beautiful game I have ever played.

Well now, my question.

I am at the chapter 9 boss, I first reached it back a month ago, then just turned the game off when I remembered how it took almost an hour of hitting x to kill the last boss.

Now almost 2 months later I decided to play this game again, since I havent for months.

All of my characters crystalarium or whatever are maxed out, they are as strong as they can be.

Any paradigm combo seems to fail at this guy. comm/comm, comm/rav, and of course a medic. By this guy I mean, the old guy who turns into a robot with lots of heads. Falsea?

I sat there for 30 minutes, 2 times, doing this. His health lost maybe 5 pixels, and his stagger gauge stayed still. Then I die, of course out of boredom of hitting x x x x x. Even when I don't do auto battle it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Libra does nothing, my magical horse thing does nothing. It is 0% fun. I actually laughed out loud as a died with my full maxed out characters after 30 minutes. Calling this "hard", well that is NOT the word for it. These scenerios were immpossible. The only thing I can think of is sometimes, there are sceneroes/patterns that the boss does, which allow the player to win, other time, its physically immpossible to win.

Did the people who made this game play it, even once? Did they find it fun, at all? And the story... Very lame, and an insult to LOST by stealing that whole fate theme, not that LOST created fate, but they way the fate story is told is a blatant rip off of LOST, except, lame.

I would love to see what happens in this game, I heard it opens up after a while (im already on chapter 9 our of 12, how long IS a while?).

But even if someone paid me 20 bucks, I cannot see myself taking the time/effort to fight this guy for an hour and just risk dying or something. By fight I mean breaking my thumb on the x button and changing paradigms 108 times.

Is there some kind of trick to this or something? I made sure I used all my strongest characters, but still.

Well thank you for taking the time to read this.

Any advice would be helpful.
