I have three questions about 5/17's "Chuck". Chuck's dad said that he constructed the little device in his watch to help govern the intersect and mentioned something about it helping out his own mind. Refresh me on this -- does Chuck's dad also have an intersect in his head? I don't believe he does. If so, when did he get it and how could the CIA allow him to live off the grid with it?
Also, can we assume that the Ring just was able to build a new intersect on its own and this is the one that's being uploaded into Shaw?
One more question about last season's finale since I don't recall it well. Did Chuck have the intersect fully removed from him by the trick his dad played? And was it a mistake that he had the intersect v2.0 uploaded when he went into the Ring facility or did he consciously choose to do it?
