I currently own an RS50 and im addicted to biking, im almost defiantly going to get a 125 when I turn 17, but was intending to get it and ride it on my provisional, im now considering doing my full test.
I see my self as a fairly smart rider, with the odd mistake, ive managed to cover 4600 miles in ice snow and even hot weather!! :) and havnt had any crashes/slips or drops (touch wood).

I hear its being made harder.. How much harder?
How much would it cost?
How much harder is it compared to the car test?
How long would it take?

Thanks alot, especially if you can put my mind at rest on the situation.

If you are having lessons ask your instructor, if not ask at your local driving test centre. Stick with it and then you have transport for ever and can go any where and do many things.
For now think pass then the door is open

First off Good on you
you've obviously taken your CBT.
The majority of the "improvements" to the new DAS is to the area known as PART A which is going to overtake the CBT
This new PART A is somewhat similar to the old PART1 ( pre cbt) that was around in the 1980's So if your Dad Uncle or other relative took their test then speak to them.
There is a controlled stop with a hazard avoidance shicane. a figure of eight a straight line wiggle woggle ( salalom) and some pushing the bike about on the tarmac.
There is no difference to the on road route and is not that different to a longer cbt on road route.
As to getting a 125 DON'T....
Why you ask...
If you like the RS50 you have probably de restricted it ( don't lie)
Why waste another £3000 on an RS125 ( as you're not going to want a CBR125 now are you) and a YBR125 yam commuter isn't going to cut it for you..
Get a FULL BORE kit for the 50 take it to 80cc ( you might have to order it abroad) and run that until you've taken your full test on a riding school 125.
Then spend your hard earned cash ( and saved from the disasterous mistake of buying a 125) and buy a full 33bhp power RS250.. or look for a suzuki X7 or a RD250LC /RD350YPVS
get my point
or a restricted R6...GSXR600 CBr600
your choice
Then join your local Advanced motorist group
