Fever, Heat Flashes, Sore throat?

I've tried looking for whatever the virus is that I have, but none of the symptoms sound right. So far it started with a sore throat, followed by headaches that stopped occurring yesterday, I've had an on/off fever, that's mostly on all the time, and I continuously cough but nothing ever comes up. It all started this past Saturday (08/15/09) and shows no signs of going away. My sister (20) and her roommate (28) both smoke and often around me, if that could have something to do with it?

Please tell me if you've ever had this or if you know what it is??

it sounds like it could be an allergy to the smoke (or mold or other airborne things), or a bacterial infection. gargle salt water. try to stay away from the smoke as much as possible. may want to take some benadryl or other allergy relief, it will help with the headaches too. if it persists go to a doctor and get a strep test.
