Ok I have a fender jazz and I wanted to change the strings, well I ended up taking off the strings without looking at my bridge and now I forgot the placement, by placement I mean that there are multiple grooves on where the string can rest on my bridge. So, I was wondering where should the strings lay or what is the standard placement of the strings on the grooves. Also, when I had them on before, my strings were fairly low to the frets as well how I like it, which I know is more of the lowering and increasing of the bridge. but I didn't know if the grooves on the bridge affected that too so yeah. I know I kinda sound stupid right now but I've only been playing bass for a year and don't know everything yet, so yep, please help!
