About 2 and a half years ago my husband and I purchased a home and there was already a fence up. The fence is at least ten or more years old. Recently our neighbor had her property surveyed and our fence is about a foot over the line. We have a feeling that she is going to ask us to move it over because she tried to put a flowerbed on part of our property and we asked her not to put it there because we were trying to get grass to grow. She hasn't said anything about the fence but I overheard her saying she was going to try to put the flowerbed up again and if we say no she will ask us to move the fence. Can she legally make us move the fence if it has been there for over 15 years? Is there a law protecting us from this since it was pre-existing when we bought the house? Thanks
