My grandparents said they had to save the water for baths because they couldnt afford much so the oldest children would take a bath then to the youngest in order with the same water. Isnt that gross what if u had your period and the boys went in after you? Also its crazy how back then they had no pads they used rags for periods. this is in the 20's-40's
