Hi im new to this so bare with me. I have been having really bad period for the last 6 yrs, since i had my tubililigation. The things is that my periods are so bad that i have to stay home cause i bleed to mucha nd some times have to change clothes. im having blood clots the size of golf balls. Ive gone to the ob, and she wants to keep putting me on birth control. i told her I have five kids and cant have any more, im lost any one ever have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it.
 
Just because you've had your tubes tied doesn't mean you can't take birth control pills. They give it to women of all ages and sexual activity for period control...often given to teens who are not sexually active to control theirs. You might give it a try and see if it helps. If not, outside of a hysterectomy, I don't know of any other options. Perhaps someone else does.

What do you use for your periods? do you combine pads and tampons? I used to use 2 supers at a time and sometimes added a pad at bed time as mine were pretty heavy...even on the pill.
