hi there

i have a 1 year old female cat, she is not spayed and lives outdoors. She has (not that i am aware of) come into season yet which i am finding a bit strange? But over the last few days i have notice a white creamy discharge coming from her anus? What could this be?

She is definatly not pregnant as she was at the vet for a health check about 1 month ago and she said she is not pregnant. I live in a very seculded area of scotland and there are few toms around, so please no nasty comments about not having her spayed and letting her out. She is a hunting cat and brings me a present every morning. She is wormed regulary and has had all jags. And i have already loving homes waiting for her kittens when she does have some.

Thank you inadvance
sorry but i will ask my vet but i just wondered if anyone had seen this before or knew what it was likely to be.
NOOMIE - cats are not meant to live in doors! they are living being and deserve to have some f**king freedom! i live in the middle of knowhere. My cat loves being outside. Cats are meant to hunt its nature, she'll being me a bird or a mouse, she sees that as bringing me a girl. Most Americans go mental at someone who lets there cat out so i asume that you are one! you are just so nasty! Why bother to even comment if you cannot answer the question and be sivil!
"bring me a gift that should say not girl!"

she lives outdoors??? you might want to rephrase that or your gonna have some rspca style shit on your doorstep..

just take her to a vet for petes sake can people not think for themselves anymore!!!

i mean if you were having breathing problems would you post a question about it??

reading more into your question she brings you home gifts?? she sounds wild!!!!

JESUS CHRIST!!!

whats with people!! look after your animal she shouldnt hunt thats a primal instinct! and if theres toms around she probably has a disease if shes out so much like you stated toms will fight with girl cats regardless!!!...

it sounds to be as if she has pyometra which is a deadly disease if NOT treated ...the only treatment for this is spaying or your cat will die...you cannot wait for her to take her in she must go immediately...the reason she is "leaking" this fluid is her uterus is filled with a pus from the last time she was in heat her cervix was open and bacteria entered her uterus...the reason why you cannot wait is her uterus is getting so full of this pus that it will eventually explode and the poison will spread throughout her entire body...please take her as soon as possible!!!
