ok so my female betta fish has been acting weird for a while now (not eating, having trouble swimming, not very active, white build up around gills) and my mom ended up calling the petsmart and talked to someone that knew a lot about betta fish. she said that it was most likely a birth defect or injury and i tried to feed her softened lettuce but she wouldnt eat it. so about an hour ago i put a few drops of " quick cure: fast relief for ick and protozoan parasites" just to try it and now i just looked at her and it looks like she is pooping out something white/beige and string like. and i was wondering if this means that its curing her illness or if it means something else? oh and all she would ever eat since i got her about six months ago was freeze dried bloodworms. thanks!
