I was eating a Schnitzel burger last night when I bit down on something hard. I thought it was just a piece of burnt crumbing or something, but it was sharp and smooth. I tried to find it again but I couldn't, so I spat it out and didn't end up finishing my meal. I got a little mirror and tried to see if a filling had come out but everything looks fine, except the very top, back tooth on the right is really sensitive to hot and cold food now and it hurts to expose it to air, like if I breathed air in past it. I do have a filling in that tooth and the one in front of it, but they look and feel fine. I don't see any chips or anything either - but then again, I didn't really get a fantastic view because the mirror only went in so far. We're moving house in two weeks so it's getting really busy, so is it worth making an appointment with my Dentist? I have one booked already for the 20th (just for some cosmetic work) but I don't want to wait that long if I've done something that could end up costing hundreds/thousands to fix if I leave it until then.
