Hi,
No I am not BBC, just the humble bloke that selects and reads out local news for recording onto tapes that go out to the partially sighted and blind folks in the community.
A charitable unpaid thing, but I am supposed to make it last 20 mins, and always have at least 30 secs to "fill in" at the end.
So I ramble on sometimes, or quote some nonesence.
I even used Flanders & Swann, to say "'twas on the monday morning, that the gas-man came to call"
And ended up with " on the Friday morning the painter made a start"
etc ...
It became popular, but I am looking for new ideas for tomorrow.
OK it is 1:20 am, but as I record these things between 1am and 4am, ready to go out, I sit here a bit stumped.
Any witty notions as to what to bung on the end ?
Bob
