Fellow democrats, how awesome is it to hear Republicans complain all day on here?

We sat by for 8 years while Bush ran our economy into the ground, ruined our reputation, drove up the deficit, killed innocent civilians, invaded our privacy, restricted access to public records, made backroom deals with his cronies, ignored science and the environment, and governed by religion instead of law. Now Obama wins in a landslide, the world cheers, he reverses Bush's damaging policies and sets our nation on a course to recover from the worst recession in decades and all the neocons, Republicans, wingnuts, and religious conservatives can do is stand by and watch as their entire socio-political philosophy dissolves into nothingness before their very eyes.

I for one LOVE IT!
Keep the negative answers coming! I love to hear you justify yourself and try and break me down!
 
I'm trying to find a truthful statement to argue, but the only one you said was that Bush was president for 8 years. I can't argue with that.
 
It is not only on here they do it..look around the media in their tanks which is almost all of them, reporters and newspapers

Watch the new thing coming out...."They want to power grab, use this time to take over business..

Started already....Tim wants regulations but Pence-R ran to cameras..scared they will take over business....'we need SOME regulations but but but but but but but but...on and on it goes

Do not mind real complaints..but the wanting him to fail bit, will never be their president, hate him period and use his policies as excuse, the socialist, commie and scary comments...makes me truly want to do something can not say here....they are dividing and very ugly people and have developed utter and total contempt for them..that was their goal..got their wish...no need to play nice any longer with majority can be crushed and begins now and with th 2010 elections
 
I guess you could say Obama's win was the closest thing a Democrat could come to a landslide. If you want to see a real landslide look at Reagan 1980 and 1984
 
How does it feel to be cluless and naive. The dow hit a record of 14000 under Bush; then the democrats took over congress and it went down 5000 points; then Obama as elected and it went down 2000 points more. Go educate yourself and stop spouting the moveon.org mantra.
 
It's about as awesome as listening to the D's complain for 8 years. I'm a Republican, I didn't always agree with President Bush, I won't always agree with President Obama. That's what the great democratic experiment is all about...opinion, majority rule, a back and forth that "hopefully" balances out in the end. This is a great country that has had some hard times but we're still around, and will be as long as we don't become so entrenched in partisanism that we become blind to our faults, arrogant of our success, complacent with our values.

I wish the new president the best. He has a difficult job before him.
 
It's awesome - Even better to see former Bush speechwriter David Frum tell Limbaugh to shut up, and other republicans now tell Cheney to shut up. What a show...

They're really having to reach to find this material. In three weeks, maybe the benign special olympics remark will have blown over, and then they'll just have vague "socialism" to complain about. Maybe one day they'll learn what that word means.
 
That's real funny. And you think Bush ruined the economy? You need to hit the books again. Let me give you just one example of how the democrats have tanked our economy. It began with FDR, he created GSE. Every democrat elected since then has spun programs off of GSE. One program spawned was Fannie Mae. Every democrat has pushed this program on the poorest of the poor. Why? The government forced mortgage companies to loan to these people, even letting them lie on the applications and not verify their income. Bush tried to get answers from Fannie Mae years ago and the democrats blocked him and told him all was well! Then look what happened. Democrats are for bigger government, wasteful spending and letting major decisions slide to the next administration. That is how they survive. If Clinton had acted on the terrorists when he was in office, we may very well have avoided 9/11. And you cannot blame Bush for the war when the entire Congress, including democrats voted for it, including Obama. The entire world was told thru intelligence that there were WMD's in Iraq. So you simply cannot blame where it does not belong. You need more education.

What is hilarious to me is that they actually believe that we care what they think.
 
it's not awesome, i'd rather they embrace our side, and i don't like complainers. but it's better to be on this side now, and they can feel like we felt when doofus Bush was in charge
