fell off the bike and banged my back and neck, what should i watch out for?

today i was out on a bike ride i was riding down a hill almost at the main road when bike stalled and throw me over the handles. when i landed on the road a car swerved to miss me, I cracked my head of the road and my back and neck took the most of the impact been having terrible pains in my forehead nose and eyes tonight but off stupid head and keep getting pins and needles in my legs, otherwise there is just general pains in my neck back and head where i banged it, i went for a soak in the pool hoping the warm water would help. but laying down now with a stiff neck and sore head....

what should i watch out for, because there was no blood i decided that there was no need to go to hospital. i have a 2year old son but he was not with me at the time when i got home after walking back up the hill as it happened just down the road with having my son i didn;t want to wait around hospital for nothing, its getting late and now worried to sleep if i could even sleep, taken pain killers but still rather sore and stiff...

should i worry?

GO TO THE ER. seriouslybut it really depends on how hard you hit your head. You can cause a brain injury, even if you don't break the skin. Long-term wise this can cause depression, loss of concentration, difficulty sleeping, lack of or greater increase in appetite, poor memory, frequent headaches among a list of symptoms. Also if you hit it really hard then, yes, your brain could swell or fill with blood both would be life-threatening and you can definately die if it goes untreated.

then call 911.
