Feeling weird days after smoking pot for the first time?

I smoked pot for the first time a couple days ago and did not get high. I felt twitchy, but it was similar as getting tipsy off of booze. the next day and the day after, i was fine, but my head was slightly fuzzy and i didn't do anything all day.

I know pot stays in the bloodstream for weeks, but should that make me feel weird a couple days after???
