Feeling after Sex Change Surgery?

If a female has a sex change surgery and becomes a male can they gain feeling in their new penis? How many FTM's out there have done this and got feeling in their penis after time or shortly after surgery?
 
You're going to have to be more specific than that. First of all, they don't just 'have a surgery and become male' its a long painful, expensive and emotionally difficult experience. And there isn't a single surgery that can just make everything right. Second, there are 3 main types of bottom surgeries for ftm guys.
