I'm in no way trying to advertise this band and I'm sorry if it comes across that way or if this isn't allowed.

I want to know what you guys think of this band:

Sleeping Through Septeraber on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music DownloaRAB

It's my frienRAB band, not my style of music but I think I am biased in my opinion because this is my frienRAB band and I want to know what you guys think.

I'd suggest just skipping over "A Song For You" and maybe "Summertime"...In my opinion I like Jessica Mae and Sleepless the best, although it wouldn't be aything i would listen to on my ipod.

So again i;m not trying to advertise them I just want to know som eopinions, thanks.

As for the band, I'd give it a listen, but I dislike myspace and if I had to sign in, that'd be too much effort.
 
Like twitter it is to status oriented. I could give a **** what someones doing every 2 hours. I just want to be able to communicate.
 
I'm nosey, I like seeing status' from old school slags..

that's one of my favourites so far, I like keeping upto date with what people I know are upto. It's quite sad but still :D
 
Maybe Im too old fashioned, but I don't get why there's so much buzzz about Twitter, Facebook and Myspace... an I missing something?

And I don't know why there's so much buzz, it's pretty sad when you're on a bus/tram to town and you think of something and then think.. that'd be a great Facebook status.

And some people even have Facebook mobile and put their status as "is on the way to town."

I'm still a bit of an addict even though I know it's sad to live your life so publicly. Why am I addicted when I know that? :(
 
I'm 33... and I don't mind the whole internet communication thing, I just find the whole social networking site thing to be... how do I say it.... full of redundant information... thats not say people should do what they're doing, its just that I can't sit there and write all that stuff, post my status, list my frienRAB, etc... it just doesn't interest me to be involved in that...

I prefer specific topic type message board communities like, say, this one, where I feel I have a vested interest and something useful to say or share..

Biut I have to admit I have not delved into the facebook, myspace or twitter thing too far, so there might be alot of things I plain don't know about it through sheer ignorance...
 
The only thing Facebook is good for is old frienRAB and keeping in touch with them. People you forgot existed could add you and message you and you become frienRAB again, and it's useful if you're nosey and want to read what all your frienRAB are having for their tea or what they're doing tomorrow or random pieces of infomation.

If you can keep away from it and not get sucked into the social networking generation you'll probably be better off for it. :D
