Favourite Coen Brother's Film?

What's everybody's favourite movie by the Coen's?

I'd have to go for Raising Arizona, brilliantly funny with the best closing line to a film I can think of.

All the others give a run for its money tho' esp O Brother ('They loved him up and turned him into a horny toad!) and Blood Simple (for the scene where he has his hand round the window, and gets the knife stuck straight through it).

Not seen Intoerable Cruelty yet (I need to gather the strength to watch Clooney AND Zeta Jones in a film!). Any thoughts on it?

Not keen on most of the Coen Brother's stuff. Just doesn't appeal. If I had to go out on a limb and say which one I've enjoyed the most it'd probably be Fargo.

The HuRABucker Proxy for me. It's rarely out of my top three films of all time. The Art Deco styling, the brilliant dialogue, the breathtaking cinematography, the split second perfect editing and Jennifer Jason Leigh's performance keep me coming back to it. The ten minute 'extruded plastic dingus' sequence is still the best piece of filmaking I've ever seen.

Intolerable Cruelty is probably my least favourite. It's a traditional romantic comedy with just a twist of Coen. George Clooney is excellent and the script is great but you can't help but feel it lacks something.

Thank you for your kind attention. This moment has been duly-noted on your time carRAB and will be deducted from your pay. :)

fargo, oh brother and the man who wasn't there (billy bob thornton is fantastic)

only recently saw intolerable cruelty - not one of their better ones - started off pretty well, good yarn developing, but the last third just seemed a bit rushed to me. clooney is great in these sorts of roles tho'.

looking forward to the ladykillers.
