uh spanish fly?, little dreamer?, panama?, hot for teacher?, ice cream man?, atomic punk?, 316?, jamies cryin?, aint talking about love?, gotta be kidding dude...like his style or not, EVH is a important icon in the world of rock guitar, he popularized speed playing in the pentatonic scale...he was also the first to incorperate tapping, hammer ons and pinch harmonics into metal music...guys like hammett and navarro wouldnt exist without him.

ok, but your opinions shouldnt effect the poll, a lot of people prefer hendrix the most, and if this poll was asking who the greatest was, you would be insane not to include hendrix, hes the most influencial guitarist ever, everything you hear in rock guitar today can all be traced back to hendrix...he is GUITAR...anyway i'll give you some credit for at least knowing who the hell D.Boon is.
